Terms of use
- This site is here to tell you about Linger and to let you join the iOS waitlist. That is all it does.
- It sells nothing. The app is bought and governed through Google Play.
- We try to keep everything here accurate, but we cannot promise the site is always up or always right.
1. Using this site
You are welcome to read it, link to it and share it. Please do not try to break it, overload it, scrape it at volume, or use it to send anyone anything they did not ask for. There are no accounts here, so there is nothing to sign up for and nothing to lose access to.
If you leave a phone number or an email address in the iOS waitlist form, please use one that is yours. What we do with it is in the privacy policy.
2. The app is governed by Google Play
Linger for Android is distributed by Google Play. Your purchase, your refund and your billing are between you and Google, under Google Play's Terms of Service, and we never see or hold your card details. How the app itself handles your data is in the app privacy policy.
Refund requests go through Google Play. If Play has already declined one and you think something is genuinely wrong, write to support@linger.care and we will look at it, though the refund itself is Google's to give.
3. What is ours and what is yours
The Linger name, the logo, the copy and the design of this site are ours. The open-source components we use keep their own licences. Other companies' names and logos on this site, where we show which apps Linger can help with, belong to those companies: we are not affiliated with them and they do not endorse Linger.
4. No warranty, and the limits of what we owe you
This site is provided as it is. We do not promise it will be available without interruption, free of errors, or that anything on it fits a particular purpose. Linger is a tool for your own attention; it is not medical, psychological or health advice, and it does not diagnose or treat anything.
To the extent the law allows, we are not liable for indirect or consequential loss arising from your use of this site. Nothing here limits any right you have that cannot be limited, and if you are a consumer your statutory rights are unaffected.
5. Changes
If these terms change we will update this page and the effective date above. Material changes to the app or to how we handle data are announced in the relevant privacy policy.
6. Governing law
These terms are governed by the law of the Federal Republic of Germany, without regard to its conflict-of-law rules. If you are a consumer in the EU or the UK, you keep the protection of the mandatory rules of the country you live in, and you may bring proceedings there.
